Join us at Bowater Park from 12:00 - 4:00 PM to enjoy and celebrate the opportunity to gather together again as a family. There will be plenty of food and refreshing drinks to partake. Enjoy with family members various fun filled activities, such as outdoor games, an onsite playground or a leisure stroll around the lake. Let's all make this a safe and enjoyable time. 

Visit historic Brattonsville to experience a step back in time, by way of a living history farm. Historic interpreter will share stories of York County's Bratton Family who ran this former plantation and the stories of the enslaved people, whose stories include cooking influences as well as the joys and pain they suffered at Brattonsville.

There are seven (7) sacred families that are descendants of the enslaved and their surnames are Bratton, Crawford, Feaster/Femster, Lowry, Moore, Smith, and Thompson.

 Additionally, there are several iconic landmarks located on this site, including Brattonsville Trails, which is an 800-acre of land that consists of a network of six (6) miles of natural back country paths.
